This website is cookieless

We do not set cookies on this website, and we do not use advertising, tracking or fingerprinting tools. Because of that we do not show a cookie banner. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and we have not switched on any Cloudflare feature that sets cookies. If we ever add analytics, we will choose a cookieless, privacy-friendly tool, and we will say so on this page first.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. If you use the enquiry form, email or phone us, we collect your name, organisation, email address, phone number (if you give it), what you need help with, your message, when you want to start and how you would like us to reply. We use this to reply to you and to discuss working together. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to a request you made to us) and, where it leads to a contract, taking steps at your request before entering into one. You also tick a box to confirm you have read this policy.
Clients. If we work together we hold the information needed to deliver and invoice the work and to keep records the law requires. Our lawful bases are contract and legal obligation.
Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address and the pages you request, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in running a secure website. We do not use this to identify you.

We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to, and we do not add enquirers to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use a small number of providers to run the site and handle email: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Resend (delivery of enquiry form messages) and our email provider. They process information on our behalf and under their own data protection terms. Some may process data outside the UK, in which case we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Links to other sites

This site links to LinkedIn, Instagram and the websites of organisations we work with and support. If you follow those links, their own privacy policies and cookies apply.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Client records are kept for up to six years after the work ends, to meet tax and legal requirements.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We will publish any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
