Accessibility statement

Our aim

We want everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Every page has one main heading and a logical heading order, and the site is set to British English.
• There is a “Skip to content” link, and the menu, form and links can all be used with a keyboard alone.
• Text and background colours are chosen to meet the minimum contrast ratios, and text can be enlarged without losing content.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked, and error messages say what to fix.
• The site works on phones, tablets and desktops, and uses no cookies, pop-ups or auto-playing media.

Known limits

This statement is based on our own checks and has not yet been independently audited. The change curve diagram is a graphic: its stages are also explained in the text around it. If you find something that does not work for you, please tell us.
