About Michael

Setting direction, then building the operation to deliver it.

Enquire about working with Michael

As a Group Managing Director and Non-Executive Director, Michael combines strategic vision with hands-on engineering depth: someone who can set direction at board level and still get into the detail of a manufacturing process or an electronics design.

Michael’s focus is building: setting direction, developing product portfolios, and growing businesses that compete on genuine technical differentiation. Over the past decade Michael specialised in composite fluoropolymer, silicone and FKM engineering precision encapsulated seals, alongside mechanical seals, with particular strength in volume manufacturing. That meant taking products from concept and materials selection through to repeatable, quality-assured output at scale.

Earlier work spanned embedded systems, GPS, Bluetooth and wireless sensing, giving Michael an unusually wide span from materials and manufacturing through to electronics and connected products.

As a mentor, Michael enjoys developing engineers and leaders, sharing hard-won experience across materials, manufacturing and commercial strategy to help others find their direction.

What drives Michael is the intersection of materials, engineering and commercial strategy: finding the white space where a better-engineered product can win, then building the operation to deliver it at volume.
